What are some recommendations or places yall would recommend for me to get some information on acro's and sps. Whats the best test kits and how often should I test and can lps grow in a clean water reef.

Stability is the key with sps honestly with really focusing on alk and temperature. Sufficient lighting and lots of random flow is also important. I really think the larger the better for sps but smaller systems can also be very successful

I agree. The larger the system the more stability and the corals grow bigger/faster.

When I see a guy with a 10/G that's full of Acro's I'm just thinking man...

Yeah, but if you're on the beginner side of reefing you need to really understand how to balance the tank first before you dive into Acropora. They can break your heart. Even the most seasoned reefers can experience unusual issues at times and have a whole tank of 20K in corals white out over night. Start slow and work your way into them. They can be challenging. They really don't like tanks under 4 months and if your tank is 2 yrs plus it's gonna do so much better with acros.
