I have a SPS dominate tank. Currently dosing BRS calcium alkalinity and magnesium. Looking to switch. I was wondering what everyone else has had success with.
I purchased a used calcium reactor yesterday. It was full of water and rx media. The guy I purchased it from said he took down the tank he had it on but hadn't drain the water or removed the media. The water and media have been sitting in the rx for 2 months. My question is if I drain the water...
So I finally pulled the trigger on my upgrade to a Planet Aquarium 150 gallon. I really wanted to go with the 180 but I didn't have enough space for a six foot tank.
I'm thinking about upgrading my 90 to a 180. I'm trying to think this through so that I don't run into any surprises in the middle of the upgrade. I'm planning on putting the 180 in the same place as the 90.
Current equipment: two XR 30 Pro Gen 3 w/RMS, two MP40 QD, Bubble Magnus Curve 7...
I was wonder how many of you guys have a pump to circulate the water in their ATO container. I'm thinking about removing the one I have in my ATO container.
I just set up my apex. I've followed the set update instruction including connecting it wirelessly and updating the firmware. I can't figure out why the outlets on the EB8 are not working.
I'm considering getting a dehumidifier for my home due to the moisture from my reef. Does anyone run a dehumidifier? Good idea or bad idea? I have a 90 gallon mixed reef.
I've read all the articles but I'm still not sure which would be best for my reef. If anyone has either and wouldn't mind letting a fellow reefer come by and take a look at how they are using either system it would be greatly appreciated.
I was considering using a few Aqua Mags to scape the back wall of my tank. I was wondering if anyone has ever used the Aqua Mags to scape the back wall of their reef.
