Here is my thread for my 10g I started up. Not too much in it yet. Mid August I'm planning on adding fish and fishing up the CUC

Can anyone ID the lone red coral? I thought it might be a mushroom but it has little tentacles on it.

Tank is on its own stand.

All that's left is to add a few fish and more coral!

Looks nice. How did you control the cyno?
I've got a real bad algae problem.

What kind of algae? And I think my carbon was causing the issue. I used a toothbrush to brush all the cyano off the rocks I could and siphoned it out. Did that 3-4 days in a row. Plus I have a refugium with chaeto in the back middle compartment and the chaeto grows like crazy!

My algae is a greenish brown algae, it grows like a powder. It doesn't seam to be spreading maybe i need to do what you did. Brush the rocks and more water chages.

Why do you believe carbon caused your problem?
