I took my lunch break today at Village Tropical Fish. As always, it was a good time. The picture quality is low, but these are trimmed down from the original crappy photos.
Also, Omar was fun to visit with.

Dang youre right Garrick these are some crappy pics!

HAHA JK!

Thanks for taking pics! Some of us Southsiders don't get that far very often and it's nice to see what's up there!

Not Bad Pics!

Thanks, everybody. I'm working on my mad photo skillz.
That little shark was way wedged up against the front glass, so my standard trick of pressing the camera against the glass to avoid 'shake' wouldn't work because it was too close for macro. Four shots of espresso a day does not help with that at all.
I would have done that shot 'pants-free' to make it a little more interesting, but my drive to work is already two and a half hours if I try to navigate around the various restraining orders in place. ;)

Aside from cutting back on the caffiene, you can also brace your elbows in against your body to stablize the camera. You'll look a little odd, but not nearly so much so as a naked guy taking pictures of fish.

Good pictures Garrick. VTF is probably one of the most difficult places to photograph to begin with, so you are doing well in a challenging environment.
