With respect to LR arrangements, I favor set-ups that imitate the "real thing", like having caves, some dark places, and wall type set-ups. Stacking in a pile has never appealed to me because when you get right in front of the tank and slowly look from left to right, you should be able to see may different effects that your placement has created. It takes me hours when setting up a fresh tank to get the LR exactly right....maybe I'm OCD :)

just my opinion....no offense intended.
