Probably wouldn't do it at home either. But since it was the boss' money, I had no issue suggesting it haha
They do have a ton of personality and they watch you more than you watch them.

Wow, cool tank. Its essentially a wall where there was none before. I'm curious about the stand/canopy, @ITreefer . Is it fixed to the ceiling at all, or just supported by the tank, plus the stand on one end? I know people do it and glass is incredibly resistant to compression, but I like to see examples to make myself feel better about building a bigger canopy for my 110.

Last Monday, the maintenance guys added a diamond goby to keep our sandbed clean.
Almost immediately, the diamond invaded the blue jaw's home and picked a fight. No one has seen the blue jaw, nor has it come out during feeding time for over a week.
The maintenance guys will be replacing him for us, but it is quite depressing. He was, by far, the most active and personable fish in the tank.

I hate the diamond goby

I feel your pain. Mine decided to go tile surfing this past weekend :-(

Sorry to hear that! You planning on replacing it?
That diamond goby also killed the replacement blue dot jaw they brought in a couple weeks later.
Until we can trap the diamond, we will not try another blue dot.

Yes the canopy is fixed to the ceiling.

We added nine large clownfish of various color patterns to the tank a couple weeks ago along with several anemones.
It's going exceedingly well up to this point, pretty much every clown went into a nem within a couple days.
I've seen no aggression (knock on wood) so far.
I'll try to get video tomorrow.
