I ended up adding less rock than I expected. Two pieces of BRS Pukani Dry Eco Rock and one piece of BRS Shelf Dry Eco Rock.

I wanted to give a short update on the build. This past Sunday I ordered a few corals from a seller on eBay. I also picked up a green slimmer frag and Montipora setosa frag from Ostentum. Here are pics of the ones from eBay:

I also picked up a custom piece of glass to cover 1/2 of my sump. I am hoping this will help reduce the moisture that I am seeing in the stand. Here it is in place:

I picked up a new piece of equipment today. I got a JNS FR-1 in sump media reactor for running carbon. I was very happy with my JNS biopellet reactor and went out of my way to try and track down a FR-1 to go with it. I ended up getting it online from www.reefconcept.com in Canada.

I really like how there are no hoses and that it is so compact.

Time for some updates. I have added a few fish so now the tank has two ORA spotted mandrins (male and female), two ORA yellow assessor, and two of my tank raised true percula clown babies. I was having problems with salt spray and humidity in the stand so I designed and built a cover for the left side of the sump. Here are some pictures of what I built.

Well this tank is starting to fill up with LPS which was not my original plan but I just can't help myself. I am a LPS/soft coral fan at heart. I picked up this nice elegance on sale at Fish Gallery on 4/14/12.

Beautiful, is that a yellow tip?
I am not really sure but it is a beauty.

The most recent (male) Mandarin was not keeping up his weight so I removed him to an isolation tank with a bunch of left over pods from my frog fish. The other (female) Mandarin is doing great and is very fat. Last Sunday I went by Fish Gallery to pick up some snails for my 12 gallon nano and ended up getting a small black spotted boxfish. She is eating pellets and seems to be doing well. I was shocked when I cam home Monday and could not find her. Low and behold she went surfing over the overflow weirs and down the overflow pipe into the sump! I moved her back to the main tank and she has not repeated the trip.
