I found a rather unique tomato that is really dark like the one I have now. And significantly smaller, check him out.

If and when I have a couple hundred laying around, I'll get those onyx but until then these will do.
I got him at B&B, I'm not a huge fan of the store, but this was a really cool looking tomato, so I decided to get him.

You definitely should isolate the xenia to an island. The kenya tree will give you some issue in the future also. Everything is looking great though.

I dunno, I really like the looks of the xenia and kenya tree. If nothing else I'll weedeat them... I like the natural tones of them. We'll see, I'm read to start cutting if they go nuts on me...

I just stocked the crap out of my tank!

I went and picked up some stuff from quoc and his tank pushed me over the edge. So I decided to pick some frags up from wazzel, and well he basically cut off something from his entire tank...

I went and purchased test kits for CA and KH and got a reading of 480 and 120 respectively. Is the CA too high? I've read that it is suppose to be around 400? Or should I not worry about it?

for all the power of the lifereef self cleaning venturi it doesn't clean out a whole snail... ^^& That little booger went over the overflow, up some foam, all the way over that oceanic perforated tubing down down to the sump, into a mag drive around the prop up the intake into the skimmer and got lodged in the venturi. And he is stinking still alive, he didn't look like he got damaged at all.

I swapped return pumps in an effort to stop the cavitation that I've been experiencing from having a 90 on the return pump. It is probably stepping down to around 600 gphish as far a s return into and from the tank. But I don't think it is that much of an issue, if anything it will give the chaeto more time to do its job along with the skimmer.
