Just as the title says I'm looking into a new light for my 90 gallon. So far I'm down to two options:
48"Nova Extreme 8x54w T5 HO + 4 LED's (German Parabolic Reflector)
and...
48" Nova Extreme 6x54w T5 HO (Individual Lense Reflector)

Which would have better PAR output? Has anyone used these? Thoughts? Questions? Comments? Concerns?

Thanks for the reply.

So I'd be getting less light from the 8 bulbs rather than 6?

My fixture for my 46 has the individual reflectors ans is great. However the 8 bulb is ten dollars more in this case so if it offers more light I'll go with it.

I don't want to speak numbers, as it's impossible to know without measuring the two specific fixtures in mind, but I am confident that you will get MORE light from the fixture with individual reflectors. I've read that an individual reflector will direct 50% more light into the tank when compared to single fixture reflectors.
