I have seen some purple with green polyp Acropora referred to as "bonsai", but I wasn't sure if that term was used for all of this color, or a particular specie.

Whatever it is, I really like it. It started to RTN quite badly in the QT and I thought I was going to lose it. As soon as I was convinced there were no nasty creatures on it, I moved it to the DT and it has been doing well since. I have had it about 2 months.

That must be a Acropora Nana or the Purple Bonsia.
Not sure where you got it from but it can be a Garf too.

I can't tell from the lighting if the skin is purple..if so, then it looks like a GB, the GB is real deep purple skin with green polyps. Great find BTW.

Thanks guys. I got it from Global Leader Aquatics. The skin is purple, but I underexposed the picture some to bring out the color - it looks paler in person.
