I have a few questions, has anyone tried this? How much do I add? Are there any neg. effects? And do I still need to drip it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you still need to drip it. Im not sure on the amounts I dissolve a teaspoon of kalk in about a tablespoon of vinegar. What it helps is to
keep the kalk from reacting with air abd turning into Calcium Carbonate.

The only bad thing Ive noticed is when my alk was low and I first started using it my sand started to clump together. It may be totally unrelated though.
