Well I had to go check this place out. Their corals and frags were possibly the most colorful I have ever seen in person. It is a small place, but from the selection I saw on corals, It was HUGE. Prices were a lil more on the high side, but to be honest, I'd probably shell out the extra $$ for thier coral-stock. It was simply amazing. Neons, purples, blues, even pinks. It was super refreshing from the "typical brown blah" you see in most places.

Their drygoods were limited, but it would be a good store to pick up things for maintenance and whatnot. I wouldnt think you'd be able to get everything for a entire setup there.

Their Liverock seemed okay. I looked at a few places for live rock and I would rate them as a place to get supplemental live rock, but not the majority of the tank. I didnt see any with good coraline growth. Mostly the fuzzy browns. But then again that could probably be chalked up to the time of year.

They have a Redsea Max setup in the main room and it has to be the best looking Reef Tank I have seen in person. I thought tanks that nice were only found in pictures! LOL!

Overall I would rate this place an A. I enjoyed my visit, and glad I gave em a shot! :)

Kevin rocks!
And I agree, his coral selection is AWESOME!
And anyone wanting to see what coral tanks look like under T5-only lighting needs to check this place out.

They are also the only place i know of in Houston that carries Rod's Food!

Kevin is a genius when it comes to reef tanks. I wish his store was on this side of town.

I remember one of his advice to me, he said first you have to decide if you want a reef tank or a fish tank but can't have both combined. Years ago, he had a beautiful SPS tank, probably one of a kind.

Kevin is a great guy and runs an awesome shop, i'm usually in there twice a week. Service, selection and quality of corals is 2nd to none in my opinion.

+1 for kevin. His tore is awesome and he is enjoyable to talk to. Plus he is there 95% of the time so you can get a reliable answer to a question.

His coral-stock was the best I had seen ever in a STORE. I honestly think I will make majority of my coral purchases from him, if I cant find frags from other members.

(Still waiting on my bank account to recover from dropping around 1 grand for my setup, so I can be a member here at MARSH lol!)

And he DOES sell RODs which is awesome! Plus, being close to me is a super huge plus. Now....I just hope he has a couple of onyx clowns by the time my Bday rolls around (Mar 18th)
