I have an electric pressure washer that I took apart for unrelated problems and found that 3 screws had backed out and an oring was messed up. The pressure washer is a bit older but still works, but the serial and model were rubbed off over the years so I cant find part numbers or anything

I have been looking for an oring that goes between the electric pump and pump of a pressure washer.

Here is the pump side:

I bought the oring on the top at ace but it was too small and I cant stretch it much and the blue one was given to me by the dude at napa but its a bit too big.

Hydraulic repair shops have tons of O-rings. Check Hufco hydraulic is over by Saphire's old shop. Made way too many trips there for skid steer hoses.

That's the problem, I don't really know the size. If you use the red sealant, do I run the bead, let it dry and then put it together or run the bead and then smash it all together?

What I would do is get a tube of red permatex, Run a bead in each side of the o ring seal but be carefull not to put so much tat it bleeds into your gear box. Then while its still wet bolt it all back up and let it dry for 24 hours.

thanks for the tips brent, I think I might go with the permatex since Im tired of going everywhere and looking guessing the size lol. Do yall know if that stuff is like glue or like actual oring material once dried? in case I have to pull it apart again will I have to scrape it off or will it come off as one piece or few pieces?
