I placed a call to 21st century and they gave me a good quote on my gf's BMW X-6. However there are so many negative reviews I found online. Has anyone dealt with them before or can someone recommend an affordable carrier? TIA

progressive here. easy and convenient.

wedgewood insurance @ 281-350-1605 they have offered me the best price everytime I've checked for 8 yrs now. They've paid every claim prior to the other company or companies involved in the claims too! Very quick to pay out.

I like progressive but their ads campaigns annoy the living day light out of me. Especially that corny girl and her lame jokes. Just want to punch her in the ovary every time she comes on :0)

All I know, is when I ran over the bicyclist, they paid quick. When ran over the (Brand NEW) parked car in the road, they paid quick. When I ran over the drunk driver whose insurance gave me the run around trying to blame me, my insurance paid quick. When I ran over... this is gonna be a long post. To cut to the chase...they haven't cancelled me yet, they still insure me, and they are the cheapest around!

Wow you're accident prone eh :0)) Thanks for the info.

People shouldn't park in the middle of the street!

I can say, I received a pretty good deal from AllState when I had auto and home on the same policy, but after my expensive mold claim on the homeowners, they didn't want to insure me anymore for a realistic price. I no longer combine the two policies.

LOL! Rocket, sounds like you need to watch where you are going! :D

I've been with State Farm forever. Literally, since 1983. They have been very reasonable, maybe not the cheapest, but they have always made me more than whole on all of my 4 claims, ie: I haven't had to actually "pay" the deductable. The times I've priced others they were within 10% or so of the cheapest quotes. We have our home insurance with them too. Plus we have guaranteed renewals now so they will not cancel us, but they can raise our rates if we have some major claims. Which I'm glad of since I now have two kids driving. Right now I'm paying about $180 a month for 3 cars, 2 with full coverage (06 and 07 models), and 4 drivers including a 20yr old male and 17 yr old female. This is 50/100/50 coverage with $250 coll & $50 comp deductables. I know people that are paying more than that just to add their kids to their policies!

Progressive has always been a "quick settlement" company. Their thinking is if you settle quickly, there will be no long drawn out claim that would end up costing them more. I know for a while they advertised their mobile trucks that would cut you a check at the accident scene!
