im trying to dye this black fabric back to black because it faded a little. Any recommendations?

there is a black dye you can buy and use it to wash with the piece of clothing, but do it in a washateria bc that dye is strong and might catch some clothes the next few loads, not sure where to get it, GOOGLE IT

What kind of fabric (nylon, polyester, cotton,etc) ?

That determine what dyeing methods are suitable / usable.
