so today my Achilles decided he would just wail on my PBT all day and night.

my PBT has scratches bites and pieces of fin missin, fights right back but i can tell he wants peace. but the Achilles just keeps at it

the only time they stop fighting is when i feed em

its funny cause its so bad, my Naso Blonde who was the newest fish tries to get in front of the Achilles when he's attacking. hes trying to be my PBT bodyguard or somethin

i dont want to take my PBT or my Achilles out so the only idea i came up with is to add more tangs so he'll lay off my PBT (yes i know how stupid that sounds) but i dont care i like my other fish way more and have a big 200 they can all swim around in

what should i do?

tomorrow im gonna re aquascape my rocks anyway so hopefully it'll break up some territories

I have no idea, maybe you could try to take the Achilles (bruiser) out of the tank and put him in amother for a few days where he wont be so territorial in there. I think i read it somewhere but it makes sense to me.

What you're trying to accomplish is equivalent to putting two cocks in a closet complete with bladed feet.

Reason theyre fighting is because:
PBT and achilles have both same habitats, so we have competition. Both are the same shape, goes back to competition, i.e. 'get out of my space or i'll kill you.' Both are just flat out aggressive to begin with. Might I add territorial too!

Armed with this knowledge, use your better judgement.

Well if you know what you SHOULD be doing, do what is best for the fish in this situation.

In my opinion remove atleast the PBT, and eventually you will probably have to remove either the achillies, or the blond naso as well. Only time will tell.

IMO what would be best is to realize that you'll never be able to put a PBT and an achilles together in the same tank.
