Bought a month old ballast(had documents to prove age, still in original dated packaging), works, on single ended bulbs. It won't fire my DE bulb. I have tried several times to inspect, alter the plug configuration, with no success. Has anyone seen this before? My HQI bulb is running off my PFO ballast, so I do know it works. On a side note, I think my double 250 watt ballast may be gone, I'll report tomorrow. Dark days ahead on the Clines Reef, literally!

Well, the double 250 is out. Cooling fan locked up, got hot, and may or may not have damaged other parts on the board. Luckily, it is a board that is servicable(but probably not by me) and may be repaired. Still have the HQI issue, nobody has seen or experienced this before?
