I'm trying to figure out what the white spiky things are that are on the side of my acanthophyllia. I am concerned they may sting it when it tries to expand its polyp. Most pictures of hydra I've seen show a much more symmetrical animal.
Well, unfortunately, I don't know of any way other than panacure to kill hydroids and your coral wouldn't make it through a panacure treatment. Maybe try to manually remove them?
