In your experience, which online vendors are accurate to the pictures and which aren't? Rate them from most accurate to least, based off of your experience. I see so many nice pictures online but I don't really know which pictures to trust.

First off, that FarmerTy vendor is bogus. Avoid at all costs. I heard he doesn't even have a tank!

I'll post a list of vendors I do trust, how about that?

Vendors I shop with and trust their pictures:
Boomcorals
Battlecorals
Unique Corals
Cherry Corals

Pretty short list... I know. The majority I buy from are actually other reefers on Reef2reef or Facebook that I know personally or by reputation.

Ones I don't fully trust their pictures because they are typically enhanced in my opinion are:
WWC
Jason Fox
Vivid Aquariums

Just my opinion, but their saturation is often tweaked to get attention. Blue reefers (those who run predominately blues) won't complain about their pictures but as a white light (12k-14k) reefer, you'll never get what you are thinking you'll receive.

Gotcha. Thanks for the list! I think we were texting about it once, but I’ve pretty much got what was in the picture with Jason Fox corals. Out of your list, that’s pretty much the only one I’ve bought from though. I’m definitely gonna but plenty of not cheap stuff once I get the main system established. That should happen around the time we colonize Mars haha

I agree the color is a bit oversaturated, but overall a nice video. And I like the music.

That music sounds like an 8 bit Mario drank sasparilla and ran through a cloud level while wearing a raccoon suit.

Now I have an idea of true colors of a tank when shot with an Iphone. The saturation goes just a bit nuts... This is with me decreasing saturation by 25% already and it still looks oversaturated to me. Thanks Frank!

Good! That's exactly what I was going for but I was going for fire level through the dungeon.

Play with the white balance and it should fix a lot of the saturation. Tap the screen, find the sun icon, then slide it up or down to adjust. It will force the camera to reduce saturation.

I call BS. Much different theme for the music for a dungeon. That was way too heavy into cloud level territory. Possibly a bonus level as well.

I did adjust white balance. Iphones super saturate blues... Like an oregon tort will look neon blue... When it should be a deep blue. I had to warm up the spectrum a bunch, turn down the contrast to almost minimal, and reduce saturation to even get a believable video. It was excruciating.
