The over flow box thst is behind my tanknis starting to leak, the leak is on a seam its a slow drip but I need to get it fixed asap

As long as it can bond to the acrylic it should. Just get it as clean as possible first. You can also try Gorilla 5 min epoxy and press it into the seam while wearing nitrile gloves. Failing that acrylic glue will definitely work and can be found at many hobby stores.

i heard silicone doesn't bond with acrylic that well. Even if it sticks, it'll eventually fail. If you can patch it up for a few days, amazon has weldon 4 if you wanna just get it mailed in.

It seems like it has, it stopped the leak almost immediately once I dried the area and covered both sides of the seam.

Weldon 4 to thin for repairs. 16 minimum. Weldon is not a glue, its a polymer that welds the acrylic together.
