how much do you guys think it would cost to have a tank built that is 106"long, 40" deep, and 36" tall?

just curious..

and who would you recommend to build such a thing..

$5k minimum? You'll get a large range of prices depending on the manufacturer. I'd contact the following companies for quotes, ranked in the order price (including crate fees and shipping, lowest to highest) for quotes when I was asking for a 90x30x22. If I had actually pulled the trigger, I would have gone with miracles in glass.

You could contact local LFS in the area... some of those manufacturers (particularly DSA and AGE) only sell to brick and mortar stores, so you wouldnt deal directly with the manufacturer. Otherwise, in the last 4 years of paying attention for a custom tank, I have found NO local builder.

AGE through Fish Gallery is the closest to local as you'll probably get.

They are up near Dallas.

The tank I have is was made locally by Ocean Atlantis, I know Fishland carries their tanks. I have no idea how large they make them, but they were still in business when I called to ask about drilling the tank back in Oct/Nov. They don't sell to the public, but you could maybe see if they could make you a tank like you want.
