Hey All!

We recently got a newer boat trailer for our boat that has been in dry storage since we moved here 10 yrs ago. We are having a hard time finding a marina on Lake Conroe that will let us drop the boat in long enough to swap the old trailer out for the new one because we aren't members of any of them. Does anyone know of or have a slip that we can use just long enough to make the switch?

I can help with the swap. I can meet you at the lake boat launch and watch your boat for you while you back the new trailer in to swap. Heck if your not too far from me i can help tow the new trailer to the dock with you and we can do a quick swap. I live on the north side Spring/Woodlands area.

So the hubby ended up pulling a MacGyver move and swapped the trailer on dry land using a come-along and pulling the boat from the old trailer straight onto the new one. For a 22ft Cuddy Cabin, he said it went better than he could have expected. Next step is to de-winterize and get some wax and polish on it
