I believe brain corals are photosynthetic and do not require feeding outside of a little for supplement. You can try feeding it thawed frozen food through a turkey baster once or twice a week.
Nope, they don't "require" feeding, but a target feeding from time to time isnt a bad thing. I'd probably not do it more than once a week, but any common meaty fish food (frozen is usually the common fare) will do.
I always spot feed all my coral, I turn off circulation, and feed the phytoplankto, and cyclops, once a week each, om different days, all the coral seems to love it. I turn on the circ about 10-15 mins later.
They are photosynthetic and don't require feeding. But some meaty foods every once in a while won't hurt. My lobo likes small pieces of krill. I squirt a little phyto above it to elicit a feeding response then hand feed it the krill. One small piece makes it happy happy. Have to play hall monitor to make sure the shrimps don't snatch it away though.
I try to feed my brains occasionally but if I am feeding other things and I see them start to open up I feed them. My Bleeding apple scolly will open up when I put NORI in the water.
