I noticed tonight that my rocks and glass have these guys everywhere.

Should I worry?

On a side note, my 125g project is stalled. I cut the tendon on top of my left thumb 95% of the way thru Monday. Had to have surgery Tuesday. Now I am down for six weeks.

I cut it with a sheetrock knife on my second job. I had just put a new blade in it about a minute earlier.

It doesn't really bother me, just a damn inconvenience.

owwwweeeee.........sorry to hear about your thumb :( Hope you recover quickly. I'd be totally out of work if that happened to me.

Those look like bristle worms to me. I have some in my tank and in my fuge, and I'm sure most people probably have at least a few. There are some fish that are known to eat them, though if the worms come out only at night, and your worm-eating fish are sleeping then, doesn't seem like they'd do much good for bristle worm control, huh? I haven't really worried about the ones I have, since I haven't seen very many. I have heard stories of them getting so large that they start killing your fish, but I've never seen one that big. I shutter. Anyway, there are folks here that know much more than me, so I'll let them give their 2 cents. If nothing else, maybe you could pick them out of the main tank with tweezers and toss them into your fuge, where they actually do serve a meaningful purpose, or pitch them down the toilet.

Man that sux to hear that. :(
People have different opinions on bristle worms. Some say they are good, others say they are bad. I say they are good cause they stir things up and eat waste. :D

Thanks for the well wishes on the thumb. Sucks to type now, plus I'm off from the FD for at least 6 weeks.

After this Tuesday I am on vacation/holidays until September 10. Kinda sucks for this to happen right before my time off but at least I'm not burning sick time.

I just kinda got rattled over the worms as I have never seen so many in the tank. Hopefully they are the main reason my 6-line is so happy and fat.

HAHA! They gave me vicodin and I took one the first night (Tuesday) cause they said I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the pain. I slept all night.

I haven't taken another as there is no pain. It's sore but not painful.

I would normally say no problem, but from the density i'd wager their planning a rebellion. I think I see one goose stepping! RUN!
