Brown Algee (1 Viewer)

I've noticed brown algae staring to show up on my overflow box, the tank glass, and on some the sand. I plan to do a partial water change tonight, but should I take any other action to fight it?

I moved this tank about two weeks ago and changed the lights to MH last week. I'm running the MH about 5 hours a day currently.

Your tank could be going through a mini cycle from the move. You can add some astrea snails and a figting conch to help.

If it's just brown and blows away like dust, its just diatoms, and like i_am_poor said, likely a small re-cycle from moving.
