Cabinet/Stand Sumpp & Help (1 Viewer)

A few months ago I had someone build a stand and canopy for me. This person said they would help me plumb my system and when they delivered the stand and canopy to my house took my sump to but baffles in it. After approximately a month the canopy veneer chipped and started coming off in two spots. I have tried repeatedly to get the person to fix it but they give me every excuse in the book and ignore me. Needless to say he has not returned my sump either so I feel royally screwed over.

I'm looking for someone who can fix the canopy for me. I also need suggestions on a decent but not too expensive sump as it looks like he's stolen my sump now. I bought my aquarium/equipment in December and I still have no water in it. This entire experience has taken the joy out of building my aquarium. I've not had one for 15 years and was really excited until the thing with the stand/canopy happened. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a 90 gallon aquarium. Sorry to hear your troubles with this person.

You should check with Ben, Drk8ngel about the sump. He does custom acrylic work and is really good. Flexrack (felix) is another good person to talk to about the canopy. I know another good carpenter if Felix can't help, just pm me if he can't do it.

Was that person somebody on Marsh?
Can you post some pics of you canopy with the veneer coming off.

Never mind, I know now who made your stand/canopy.
Does he has a Marsh name on here, cause that I don't know!
Check with FJW or 3cc for a used 20 gal or maybe what fits in your stand.

Alicia what you all have to setup your tank besides the sump.
Was reading trough some old post and saw you had LR, sand.
Can you mix water?
Maybe some members here have a used sump for your 90 gallon tank.

It was a 40 gallon i believe. It was a drilled tank i got when I bought my setup in December. My tank is 90 gallon so not sure what size I need.

I'm happy to have any and all over on a Saturday! I have a ro/di unit that I need to add one more canister to. I have a skimmer. I have part of the plumbing, sand and rock. I need to pick up some salt. I will provide drinks, food, etc. I'd be grateful for the help and lessons. I'm eager to learn and do.

I have not posted on houstonfishbox. I was debating on whether to do so or not....

I would post on HFB.
It seems that you need only your skimmer here.
Basically after that we can setup your tank.
Don't worry about your stand or canopy on the moment.

I thought for sure you would have gotten this solved by now. I have no problems calling him out on HFB if you dont want to . And for those of you wondering it is the guy your thinking of that gave Kelly the run around also.
