my wife and i are diving in cozumel soon and i am looking for some camera options. we have a very nice fuji camera and we will be taking it with us, the problem is that there is no underwater housing made for it. i already spent quite a lot on this camera so there is no way i can buy another camera and housing to take on the trip. we considered the disposable cameras but after buying the camera, having the film developed and converted to a digital disc it seems like a waste of money, not to mention they only have 27 exposures and my wife is trigger happy. any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

Well, you're pretty much stuck since you bought a camera that does not have an underwater case available.

For <$500 you can buy a Canon A series camera and Canon housing and get some decent pix. Another good option would be a used Oly C5050 or C5060 and housing. I'd check ebay and wetpixel for deals.

Or you can look for a "boil-in-the-bag" EWA Marine housing that will fit your camera. They are good for snorkeling. Check their website for details.

a man met a blond in the elevator.
he greeted her: "T-G-I-F"
but got the reply: "S-H-I-T"
he was startled, but repeated "T-G-I-F"
again the reply was "S-H-I-T"
he was frustrated and said: "T-G-I-F, I mean Thanks God It's Friday"
the blond looked at him saying: "S-H-I-T, I mean Sorry Honey It's Thursday"
