I just noticed my candy coral has a little sort of bite on it, could the frogspawn have done this, as it is the only thing I can see that reaches it?

Frogspawn corals have some nasty teeth on them. j/k

Can be that or maybe one of your fish or invert is messing with it.

I thought it might be like a sting, I saw a brain that had been stung by a anenome in a picture once, and it looked similar. As for fish, I have 2 pink skunk clowns, and 1 shrimp, so I didn't think it would be any of them. Plus the side it's on is the same side the frogspawn is on... I don't know????

do not FS have some agressive stinging cells on them?

I thought they could damage other soft tissue corals if in contact, I am I wrong here?

sometimes when my candy coral gets pissed one part will receed and it will look like a chunk is gone. I think fs is semi-agressive. it is not like a torch but it is the same family i think.

You are correct, all Euphyllia can do that.
