i have a skimmer thats way over rated for my tank i think
but still ive only noticed very little skimmate like as if i just fed my fishes

It happened to me once. I went ahead and did a water change and just kept an eye on things. A few of the corals looked a little unhappy for a day or so, but there were no long term effects.

you should monitor everything, esp levels of nitrogen compounds. Also, you need to keep things well aerated as the gametes will sap much of the oxygen in the water column.
