Has anybody done this?

They don't technically have to honor the price as PetSmart.com is somewhat of a different entity from your local retail shop. From their customer service page:

I once tried to get them to match a price on their web site on a filter and they would not give it to me at that price. I am going to stop on the way home and see if they will give me the salt at that price. If so I migh just buy every bucket they have and have enought salt to last me for years............

I did it at lunch today and they said of course we honor our web prices. They just said you need to print out the ad. Did you talk to the manager or a check out clerk. If worst comes to worst you all can go to the one on 610S and 59.
If they hassle you tell them "come on when is the last time you even sold some of this salt?" They are asking $18.99 for the 50G bag.

I stoped at the one on way home and it worked for me. I went to the store on 1960 and 249 and did not have any problems. Thanks for the heads up :)

I had a 5 dollar off a 10 dollar purchase coupon and got them to match the price of a 400GPH power head. I thought great 400GPH for $20 but of course it is a penguin and it is as loud as a skilter so I'll have to return it. So they also match prices on other things if you ask. I guess I'll be using IO for a while.
