Does anyone know anyone that does chiller maintance or service work? Aquatic Designs had a good person but they are no longer around. My chiller seems to be coming on more frequent and staying on longer. I want to make sure everything is ok before I have any real problems with it. If anyone has a place they take theirs, please let me know. If yours is doing the same or was doing the same what was it or what did you do about it???

Sounds like the freon may need to be recharged. Any A/C guy should be able to do it.

Scott at Village Tropical told me he knew a really good repair guy for chillers so you could check with him.

I think you can still PM Aquatic Designs via PM. He just closed up his brick and mortor. I heard on the grapevine that he is creating a website.

My chiller changed pitch (noise). It started acting just as you described. I took it to an AC friend. It was low on Freon. He recharged it, but the valves are shot now. It's limping along. I am trying to make it last as long as possible before it truely dies. I am always check that it is still cooling (paranoid now).

HAVE it checked by an AC person before it does to much internal damage.

Abran, my AC guy has made the remark several times when he's been over as he likes to look at the tanks that they do chiller work too. The name is Jordans' AC and heating.

I have been thinking I need to get a call in as mine is running longer than I think it should be. I've cleaned the front coil area but other than that I will call this company. They are also located in this NW part of town.

They also may could refer you to someone closer to you.

If you don't find someone, the guy Keith uses is his old "next door neighbor" at the shop. It's the unit that faces west, next door. I think it's B.C. or something like that, PM Keith.
