How many of my friends would like to have their TEXAS Concealed Handgun Licence?
As a new instructor, I am going to offer a great deal to the first 10! If you are Military - you and your spouse $50 (that's right, just $25 dollars each*). Veteran's and disabled veterans, $65. If you can provide 10 New students, the class is free for you.
If you do not have a handgun, I will be glad to rent you one of mine for a small fee (I have to clean them at the end of.each day). I own both revolvers and automatics. $10 rental and you provide the ammunition. If I have to provide the ammunition, the cost for it will vary by size and availability - my actual OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE! I will not mark up my ammo for students (this applies to only ammo used in class).
I will also if requested go shopping with you (for gun related items ONLY). Ask my wife what kind of sacrifice this is for me....., I usually deplore shopping of any kind. Feel free to email me or send a message with your contact information. Have a great day!
Hank at, hankintexas@hotmail.com

My website is still in development but will soon be updated with special deals and classes.

P.S. Paid MARSH members $65 dollars, mention MARSH for the discount

* Class must be taken together or on the same day

My wife and I would be down for this. What other fees are there? Some for the paperwork right?

I think it is around 150 for processing / background in addition to class. Will also cost you around 10-15 for fingerprinting.

If yours has not expired, you can renew online. If you would like to sit in as a refresher class, you are more than welcome. Very small class refresher fee. The refresher course is charged actual expenses only.

The class is only 4-6 hours now.

I am negotiating for a classroom right now. Hopefully I will have all of the other information and dates in the VERY near future.

I will PM each of you more information. You can also PM me with any questions

The (my)class fees depend on your status. As you are a Paid MARSH Member, $65.dollars Maximum. Are you or your wife a Veteran of our Armed Services? The State fees also vary. If you are applying (first time)with no discounts, the fee for the state of TX is $140. If you are a Veteran, the fee is only $25.00. If you are considered indigent, it is $70.00. If you are a retired Federal Officer, Texas Peace Officer (retired), judicial officer or a retired judicial officer $25.00.

The fees are set by the state. You can go online and check to see if you qualify for any of the discounts. You can also call me and I will help you figure out if you qualify for any discounts.

Hank - post here when you have the classroom set up. I might be interested as well, have been thinking about doing this but haven't had the time. If not too far I may be in. Really want to sit through some "basics" training courses first too as I just bought my first gun a few months ago and have only been to the range three times.

If you are interested in a basics class, I am also an NRA pistol instructor. I would be glad to give you an informal class for free at a range. I can also provide an entire class. The complete class I have to charge for though.
Be glad to meet you at a local range if you want. I am full up this weekend but available all next weekend. Give me a call or send me a message.

Hank.

That would be awesome, informal is fine, just want to make sure I am not starting off with any bad habits. I know the CHL doesn't do much range teaching, more testing, so that would be great to do first. I will send you a pm this weeked or beginning of next week to see how your weekend shapes up.

Anytime. Oh forgot to ask, what kind of firearm did you acquire?

the chl class is definitely a go. The class details will be provided to anyone who asks via email. I am currently negotiating a class room in the Richmond / Rosenberg area. Once I have the class room set up, I will be conducting classes 3 of 4 weekends each month.

The only other item I am waiting for is my LLC paperwork to be returned to me. Until it is, I am operating as a Sole Proprietor.

If someone has a classroom or conference room in the Sugar Land / Richmond / Rosenberg area - I would be glad to provide the class at your location.

I will send an email to everyone with the class dates and what you will need to bring with you. Believe it or not some people forget to bring their guns.

If you have questions, you can email me at hankintexas@hotmail.com. Please provide a phone number and I will call you back

Hank,

I want to get a short Barrel AR. Think you can help me pick out the right stuff? Lawyer is drawing up the gun trust now.
