ive had about 20 chromis in the last year and they mysteriously disappear one at a time. they look healthy and all of a sudden one will be gone. i have several fish and none disappear like these. any ideas
The male will kill each other. You can only have one male in your tank. you can tell the different between a male and female. when your actincs light come on, you can see about four deep blue strips on the body (running from head to tail) of a male.
i started out with 30 and still have 20 left.
lots of useful information. i really like the chromis so im going to buy a bunch more and hope the odds are in my favor that the females out number the males so when the killing is over i still have a few females and one male.
