Does any one have any experience with clown fish larvae polluting the tank if they were not collected? I have a pair of tomato/cinnamon clowns that lay close to 1000 larvae at a time and I'm worried about the larvae that hat h inside of the tank polluting the water. I haven't been collectiong to many of their nests because I have been focusing on another pair of clowns and I do t have enough rotifer for both.

How large of a tank are they in?

Its a 40g tank with a 20g sump. There are 5pairs of clowns in there that get fed 2-3times a day. I change out about 2gallon a week as I get a new batch of eggs. As of now the water quality is great its just this is a new problem that I'm having and I don't want it to get out of controle. Right now the larvae seem to get caught in the filter pad since the other clowns seem to be sleeping and they are not being eaten.
