Some people (e.g. on nano-reef) have success with pulling eggs very early, even day 1. That requires a lot of aeration on eggs later - and some experimentation to master technique. I think it is discussed in detail in NR Breeder`s lounge.

It can be done but not all eggs will survive. Trust me, been there and done it many times.
The reason that they pull their eggs early because parents keep eating all the eggs. I always pull my eggs out on the 7 day and have lots of survive.

I agree that parents eating the eggs is the main reason to do it, but there is also additional advantage that when nest are pulled early some parents seem to lay more often

Thanks Jason for those eggs and hope they will hatch tomorrow night.

Thanks Kyletc for those eggs and pairs. Look like its not clown eggs because its so tiny compare to mine and Jason eggs. I have never see clown eggs that tiny. I see some fry hatch so we will see if they are clowns in a few weeks.
