Where's that LFS in college station?? I'll be up there this weekend for a wedding, figured I'd swing by on my way out of town.

It's over on Harvey, West of the Mall, in the same shopping center as the TAP.

If anyone goes there can they ask the owners if they have pics of the frag swap.....I noticed them taking a bunch and I would love to get some digital copies to post if they are willing. If one of you Aggies could ask them next time you stop by I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Swung by there today. Nice setup. Some cool animals. Some are a little overpriced.

Anyone in BCS see the olive garden today?? It burnt to a crisp last night.

Dang, I saw that on the news this morning after I read your post.

So what did you think of our local store? Did you see the blue devil on sale for $600? and how about the big trigger fish in the small tank

Hehe yeah I saw the blue devil. Didnt see the price on him though. Yeah I was kinda shocked about the queen trigger in that tank. It could barely turn around. I did like the tank raised neon dottybacks for ~$30 though, thats a damn good deal. The freshwater fish had pretty decent prices.

Has anyone bothered to mention to the store that the trigger should be moved to a larger tank or risk it stressing to death??

The only bigger tanks house the corals, etc. They probably wouldn't move it anyway :x

I do agree thats its cruel to have such a big animal in such small quarters. :(

I think it is retarded that a sessile animal, like the corals get the luxurious tank, while the one animal who needs the larger living quarters gets stuck with living in a closet?? If you go by the store, say something. And if they refuse to do something to improve the situation, then don't go there, let alone buy from them. Supporting a store with funds to cruely keep an animal in small living quarters is...well...stupid. I would go there and say something myself, but man that is a long drive.

That doesn’t even make monetary sense. Who would want to risk stressing that animal out in such small quarters and taking the risk of it dying. Its not only cruel, but not very smart either.
