Hows it going fellow reefers,

Alright im going to be starting a new tank soon and dont feel like starting from scratch as well as building a sump, im thinking of taking my fully established 14 gallon biocube and using it as my sump for the 50 gallon, please give me some feed back on how i might do this or comments concerns an tips? :eek:

why you think that? if i wasnt going to use the bio cube id just be building one out of a ten gallon tank... i just figured the bio cube would be a good idea

you could sell the biocube for a good bit if in good condition and spend way less to buy a 10gal.........

the bio cube would only be able to have maybe 6 gallons or so in it, remember, it has to hold all of the overflow from the main tank if the power was to go out. i figured with a 55 you'd still be holding a few gallons

I check valve is a nice insurance policy, but wouldnt rely on it myself.
