Coral ID Please (1 Viewer)

This started out as a green patch that looked like some kind of encrusting coral. I recently noticed this branch coming out. It is about an inch and a half wide. I have never seen this kind of texture on a coral. Can anyone ID it for me?

No idea, maybe part of the base of a coral that was removed when the rock was sold. Can you contact the person you got the rock from?

Here it is so far. Seems to be a slow grower. it keeps fighting with the Superman Monti in the background. I will have to cut the Superman back.
