Set the tank up (10 gallon) at my office about 2.5 weeks ago. Sat empty with water and bagged 'live sand' and then after a week I put 3 rocks in (one live from a 2+year established tank at home) and the other two were dead that I had in that same established tank for 2 weeks or so (not really long enough, but figured it was better than nothing).
Over the weekend these covered the entire tank. Odd thing I havent dealt with before, I turned the lights off at lunch yesterday to limit photo-period and for an hour or so after the tank got crazy cloudy and then eventually cleared up. Did the same thing today, eventually gets crystal clear again.
Kinda sounds like dinos, thoughts? Never dealt with it before.
All of the hitch-hiker inverts (snails, feather dusters, bristleworms etc...) are doing fine. Suppose it could just be some cycling, but it seemed a bit more excessive than that. Parameters were all good going into the weekend, haven't tested this week yet.
