looks good to me. I am a scuba freek as well. I would be down for a dive trip any time. I have been diving all around the world and have 100+ dives loged dives. I tried to get a scuba forum in the lounge section for marsh but the idea did not go anywhere. I know there are alot of divers in marsh from talking to some of the member. I think the BB looks good........ I hope some time in the future we could get a marsh diving trip togethere...... It is nice to swim in the BIG tank

Nick,

Can't do that QUITE yet... I'm about 6 dives short of my IA (which I hope to complete this year).....

PygmyAngel: COOL!!! Now I feel like I'm running a REAL site....

landfish: If I can get all of my gear re-certed and back into the water, I hope to plan a few off-shore dive trips this summer. I'll coordinate my patootie off to go blue water diving again...

Thanks guys!

leaffish: Come out with us and get back in the water again, and I'll keep you on the list for "open water" dives in the future......

P.S. to everybody:
If you have any problems getting to or working in the site, please pm me.. I'm not ACTUALLY sure that everything is set up quite right....

Let me know when you plan on holding a class to become certified to be able to go on the trips. I would sign up.

Thanks
Rick

I would really need a good refresher course. I haven't been in the water in a few years - since July of 2000, but the last 2 dive trips I did were at the Flower Gardens for all the dives....so I have an Advanced Cert....but I don't feel so 'advanced' anymore....so......would you be willing to do some thorough refresher courses?

(Of course, I am low on $ and time, as well, but I will do what it takes to get back in the water again....).

Against my better judgement <GRIN>

Yes, I can hold "unofficial" refresher courses. I have a pool here at the house for water work (although it's still pretty cold, so a skin or suit would be a good idea), and I can definitely put together a 1 hour classroom refresher It would help me to re-teach it anyway.

Let me see what I can scrape together this weekend...

By request, I have created 4 basic "skills based" refresher courses on the site. Check them out in the On-Line Education section. I will work up a "physics" and a "chemistry" one this week.

Also, just FYI:

I know that 3/26 is the Saturday before Easter. I am thinking that we will be back in Houston around 1600 (at the latest) so everyone should be able to dry out by the next morning.

Also, I was informed at lunch today that the entire weekend of 4/2 I am busy. So the trip is on for 3/26.

Matt,

I told a couple of my friends at work about your new web site, hope you don't mind.

Thanks

Rick, not at all... my site is not limited to MARSH members, or their kin and direct lineage. It is (I hope) going to evnentually be a houston wide (maybe even larger) community for SCUBA and Free Divers, as well we TEC and Snorkelers...
