This was sold to me as a hairy mushroom, but most of the hairy mushrooms I've seen on the net and LFS do not resemble the one in my tank. Also do mushrooms get smaller before they split? This is about half of how it normally expands, and it's looking like a candycane coral before it splits. If you look to the left of the picture, there is a growth on the rock any ideas?
