Can you buy this stuff here in Houston? Or you guys having is it shipped to you via 2 day shipping? Only reason why I ask is that I just read it has to be shipped rather fast because of the temps in the wareshouses at the shipping facilities can mess up the culture.
"Please Note: During periods of freezing temperatures or extreme heat, 2-day air service is highly recommended to preserve live, active bacteria."
This is what I saw on Dr. Foster & Smith.

Doh! I actually bought the saltwater one. I'm not sure how I missed the Reef version of it. I saw Freshwater and Saltwater so I ordered the saltwater one. I just tried calling them and didn't get an answer. I emailed them and asked if there is a difference and if so what is it. I told them I'm setting up a reef tank and want to use the right product so I will be reordering the reef version if I need too. Man how did I miss that? LOL

It was early spring when I bought mine so I just used standard shipping.

Dennis at FJW said he was going to start carrying it. May be worth a phone call to him to see if he has it or has plans to carry it.

I emailed and they said it should be fine. They also said I could get an insulated box with gel ice for 9.99

I just spoke to Dr. Tim on the phone. He said the Saltwater Aquaria and Reef/Nano Aquaria is the exact same product put into two different bottles. He said they did it for branding purposes. Not sure what that means but good to know.

Maybe it helps them with the amount of questions they get on whether it will work with FOWLR tanks or reef tanks. Also helps to fill out their website with more products. LOL!

I just set up a nano tank this weekend and I'm cycling it with a small bottle of One and Only right now. Today is day 3 of the cycle. So far it's working as planned. I need to make a build thread in the Nano section.

Dont forget - the key is NOT to over dose ammonia. High ammonia will stall the whole cycle as it actually slows down the formation of the nitrite consuming bacteria.

7 days in the cycle and everything went perfect.
After four days it was zeroed out.
On the fifth day I did a full ammonia dose and yesterday all was perfect zero.
Put some critters in there for now and filled up my refugium with LR from my existing sump and some chaeto full of the good stuff.

Im liking how this is sounding. I'm trying to shoot for sometime next week on getting my tank wet (finally, I know) and am impressed by the Dr. Tims threads.

I may have to give this a shot.
