Do any of the LFS in town carry Dr. Tim's? I called FJW and they are out. If not, did you buy directly from Dr. Tim's or somewhere else? Thanks in advance!

I ordered from Dr. Tim. Don't forget to add a small bottle of ammonia to test with. That way you can complete your cycle without using any livestock.

Did you add the special cooling pack? I don't know where it's being shipped from? I'm not sure if I should have it shipped FedEx or not.
Amazon also sells it and for cheaper. Not sure about whether you need the cooling packs or not, obviously not an option for the Amazon order. I bought from them and used for a seahorse tank a while back and it worked fine.

I ordered mine when it was cold out last year (winter time) so I didn't need the cold pack. Since it's 100°+ it wouldn't be a bad idea. You don't want the bacteria to die in the bottle.

You want to follow the steps exactly to ensure your tank is cycled correctly.
Ordered mine fed ex, but not overnight shipping no cold pack in May this year. Fed ex delivered to wrong house sat on porch 24 hrs. Used it and had no cycle in a recently moved tank.
