I think people have seen me post on here that I want to do a very specific tank. I want to have an anemone dominant tank. I have been considering a bare bottom tank. Most people tell me to have a deep sand bed. I need help in planning this tank. Anyone want to give me some advice on the dsb vs bare bottom with such a tank as I desire.

thanks for the help

This is a great question. I have a sand bed. It is not a deep one. I don't know what to recommend but here is some reading from zeek a member on this site. Zeek posted this information on his tank build thread http://www.marsh-reef.org/marine-reef-general-discussion/35106-120-peninsula-2.html

to simplify it, the type of anemone you buy will determine the substrate you get. some anemones like a deep sand bed, some only like to be attached to rocks, just research the type of anemone you want and go from there.
