I am curious if there is anyone who would be interested in coming along with me to the Horace Calldwell peir one night while everyone is down and go fishing. I have benn down here for a month and a half and the sharks have been biting. If you would either post here or send me a pm.

I am fishing in Port Aransas with squid live whiting cut trout and shrimp.

I wouldn't say cut trout very loud...

Sand trout, they are not a game fish. lol In galveston i either go offshore or fish in the surf with live mullet, shrimp, and cut bait.

Oh, the one time I was checked by a game warden, was when I'd foul hooked a tiny spec and it died. Then my grandpa decided to cut it, because he'd seen some reds. So I was sitting on a bucket with the other half of the trout underneath. Praying that the game warden didn't ask me to reel in his pole, (he'd gone to the bathroom).

I thought whiting and sand trout were the same thing?
