I just ordered 2 Harlequin Shrimp from them. It was pretty reasonable at $19 a pop. Since shipping was soo high I went and bought 2 CC starfish for feeding the shrimp at $6 a pop, and a Medium Sun coral at $19. I will try to get some pics up as soon as I get these in.

Yeah, it'll be a stretch to pay $6 every 10 days for CC stars...

Hope those shrimp are already mated, or at least oppisite sex, for if not one will try to kill the other.

you just need to get get like 10 of them and keep them in a fuge, cut a leg off, feed it to the shrimp, and put it back in the fuge.
then switch to another star for the next feeding.

I did some research and they only have to be fed like every other week a whole starfish. So 6 bucks is not bad for like 2 weeks worth of feeding. They have to go collect them so they will be a mated pair.

Good, cause I had a friend on a different BB and she told me hers weren't mated, both being female, and she had to setup a second tank for one of them. She still has both, she loves them. And made a deal with her LFS to supply her with a reduced price starfishs.

Plus, during Linckia season, a good percentage start falling apart right out of the bag - maybe you can make a deal with some of the local shop owners to get the 'less than perfects' at a discount. You may be able to freeze them if there are a good many. I'd try offering other things, as well. You won't be able to replace stars as the main menu, but you might be able to stretch the time btween feedings by offering other things.
