Hey mods. Didn't know who nor which board to address this problem to but for the last several months, at random times, clicking on a thread, I would get a message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: viewbanner2() in /home/hostmars/public_html/modules/Forums/viewtopic.php on line 1190

this happens on my pc, laptop, and iPhone. Sometimes it would take 5-10 clicks of the refresh button before the thread would show. I've tried to live with it in the past but has now become an annoyance. Please help. Thanks!

Most likely, the new banner ads within the forum are causing this issue. If someone can give me a log on to the administration tool, I can debug what's going on. It's pretty easy to tell that in some cases a specific PHP function is not accessable. We've just got to find the PHP code that calls the function viewbanner2 and figure out why it's a problem on some browsers and not others. This is likely due to some JavaScript differences on the clients.

Now I feel better to know that I'm not the only one with the problem :)p. I'm surprised no one has complained about it yet. I browse this forum all day and it's becoming increasingly intolerable. Hope the mods see this. Thanks

I always get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_die() in /home/hostmars/public_html/db/db.php on line 88

running Vista/ IE8

When browsing I get this error pretty regularly... if I hit Back and try to click the exact link most of the time it will work but sometimes I have to try a couple more times...

Is there a way to clear your browser cache on the G1? If there was a JavaScript problem that was fixed, you may have an old copy stored for use by your G1's browser.
+1 try clearing the cache and trying again and let me know.
