Can you frag a finger leather? I know that if they die, they will emit some sort of toxin, but my leather is getting pretty big and might think about cutting it into pieces and maybe selling what i get.

I just cut off a piece of my Big green leather.leathers are really hardy, but I don't know if that will work for yours.

You don't really NEED to take it out but they do slime when you start cutting so it's a good idea. Just pull it out and cut it up with scissors then glue it down to a piece of rubble. Rinsing it a couple of times in separate bowls of tank water is also a good idea to cut back on the slime but not entirely necessary.

If the gooey leather proves impossible to glue, you can rubber-band it to your rubble.

As for rinsing, what he said.

Actually, the rubber band is alot easier and more effective. Thanks for the reminder Scott.

ez pz...

cut it with scissors

when you band it to the rock/plug make sure you put the part you DIDN'T cut in contact with the plug...

IE: you cut your finger off, lay it on the side don't stand it up...

it will attach to the rock faster...
