Anyone have a set of gauges to charge R134a to a chiller? I need to see if it is low and if it is I need to charge some to my chiller. I am leaving to Italy in about a week and want my chiller running in top condition. I can pick them up and bring them back the same day. call me, PM me, or post here. Will be willing to pay for use or trade a frag for your help. Thanks...

Abran,

I think for the R134a you can buy a recharge kit from hi-lo or autozone and it comes with the refrigerant and the necessary hoses/guages to add it to the system. I think they run about 15-20 dollars but not 100% sure on that. If I were closer I would just let you borrow the stuff (my grandfather owns an auto shop) but since I'm an hour away it really isn't practical. Hope someone has one you can borrow but if not I think those kits are still available...

also how old is your chiller just curious to see if they ever used r12 refrigerant or if they were all 134a.

EDIT: went to NAPA online and found this kit http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/n...t?prrfnbr=28522672&prmenbr=5806&usrcommgrpid=

Hope that helps.
