I had an extra afternoon while I'm here in St John's, Newfoundland. I climbed up signal hill in hopes of seeing some of the humpbacks which have been frequenting the area. I didn't see any whales, but I figure, where better to broadcast the news about MARSH? After all, if it was good enough for Marconi, it's good enough for me, right?

Hiked up that mountain twice and never saw any whales. So, I got on a boat and went to them. Here are two of the videos I managed to capture. We probably saw 10-15 different humpbacks, but both of these videos are of the same show-off.

I froze my butt off on the cruise, but it was totally worth it. Who would have guessed that it was colder two miles out in the North Atlantic than it was in downtown St John's.

Enjoy,
Chris
